MLK Freedom Center Youth Meet With U.S. Secretary of Treasury

“Youth need to believe that they can go to college!!” This is the message that U.S. Secretary of Treasury Rosie Rios relayed to Freedom Center youth Jabari LaChaux and Elena Pecot-Zuniga. Giving students the mindset of knowing that they can succeed in life despite challenges, obstacles and hurdles is the best way to remain vigilant in the process of social change.
