Welcome

The Martin Luther King Jr. Freedom Center provides experience for young people to visualize their own dreams of a better America.  We help them practice the conduct, the ideas and emotions necessary to develop the personal power to achieve their dreams.

We thank the funders, supporters, and volunteers who make the Freedom Center’s work possible.  Your vision and participation inspire all of us—youth, staff and board members– to serve the noble cause of peace, community and a stronger democracy.

This Annual Report recounts the hard work of young people from the East Bay who, through civic engagement and disciplined effort, transformed themselves. By visualizing their dreams and developing their personal power they have become a greater asset to our community and nation.

Sincerely,

.
